FAQ

We collected the most frequently asked questions from applicants and answered them here:

What are your working hours?
With us there are no fixed core working hours (no nine-to-five). After coordination with the team and the customers, flexible working hours can be arranged at any time.
Is it allowed to work at home?
In general, at Scandio we have the rule "Everyone may, no one should". At Scandio, anyone can work from home after discussing it with their team (e.g. for service appointments or deliveries). However, we are not a purely remote company and do not want to become one. We attach great importance to the cooperation in our offices and enjoy having a beer together after work.
What do your lunch breaks look like?
We often cook together or search for food in the area. We also have a delicous "Weißwurst" lunch at our offices in Munich and Augsburg every friday (with vegetarian/vegan alternatives as well). For a small energy kick inbetween, there is also a colourful fruit basket and of course unlimited coffee!
Do you also do something together after work?
Of course! So that we don't lose sight of each other across teams and locations, Scandio regularly organizes events such as game evenings, our annual hike to Andechs Monastery and, of course, a Christmas party. Every quarter there is also an All-Hands Meeting, after which we usually have dinner together.
What does your onboarding process look like?
To make your start at Scandio as relaxed as possible, you will receive an e-mail with all the important facts and figures in advance. Your tutor will welcome you on your first day, lead you through your onboarding checklist, and introduce you to our systems. Of course, your colleagues will also be happy to help you with advice and support at any time.
What kind of feedback will I receive?
Every permanent Scandian has the opportunity to have a scheduled interview every six months, in addition to spontaneous conversations, in which he/she can give and receive feedback. There is also a feedback meeting halfway through and at the end of the six-month probationary period.

If you have any further questions, you are always welcome to contact us by phone or e-mail.
